SUPER MOVIE FAN'S RECOMMENDATION: 2, WAIT AND RENT

Who is in it?:
IOAN GRUFFUD, JESSICA ALBA, MICHAEL CHIKLIS, CHRIS EVANS, JULIAN MCMAHON

What is it about?
The comic book series comes to the big screen with the lead four characters able to do amazing things with their bodies in a battle with Dr. Doom. The story teaches us how each of the characters is mutated by a space storm and how they evolve to use their super powers.

When and Where does this movie take place?
In space and on Earth.

Why see it? This is a weak movie, Wayne. It lacks a really good story and pales in comparison to Batman Begins. It is dull and boring, with great effects. Sounds like so many movies these days, doesn't it? This is less of a movie in places than a history lesson.

How about the kids?
PG-13 for action and some suggestiveness.

Video Pick of the Week-Million Dollar Baby. Maggie (HILARY SWANK) is a southern girl going nowhere who shows up at a rundown boxing gym run by Frankie (CLINT EASTWOOD). Assisted by his employee, a former boxing standout whose career ended before he got a shot at the big fight (MORGAN FREEMAN), they help Maggie work her way toward a chance at a championship bout. Then an unexpected twist of fate takes place. A great rental-the Best Picture of this past year.

Next week, we'll review: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the TIM BURTON directed story with JOHNNY DEPP as the lead.
