Who is in it?:
DAVID STRATHAIRN, SENATOR JOE MCCARTHY (as himself), GEORGE CLOONEY, ROBERT DOWNEY, JR

What is it about?
Senator Joseph McCarthy changed the mood of this country virtually single-handedly with his "witch hunt" for communists in the 1950s. One brave journalist withstood the pressure from outside and inside to bring facts to innuendo. That man was Edward R. Murrow, a radio reporter from WWII who fought for CBS to allow him to continue raising fact-based challenges to McCarthy's blatant innuendo and mistruths.

This movie tells the story of this important era mostly from inside the CBS news headquarters.

When and Where does this movie take place?
CBS newsroom in the 50s.

Why see it? Kentucky's own GEORGE CLOONEY is amazing, co-writing, producing, directing and acting in this amazing story. Filmed in black and white, the movie is so well done, you'll leave the theatre so excited to be part of something so well done. The use of real McCarthy news tapes brings realism to this movie that is extraordinary. Okay, it doesn't have chase scenes, nudity and something blowing up every three seconds, but this is good stuff anyway.

How about the kids?
Fine for kids, PG, but little ones will be bored

Madagascar is a funny story of zoo animals who have to learn to survive without humans. Great voices by BEN STILLER, CHRIS ROCK and several others. Cute for any family.
