SUPER MOVIE FAN'S RECOMMENDATION: 3, SEE IT

Who is in it?:
TOPHER GRACE, DENNIS QUAID, SCARLETT JOHANSSON

What is it about?
Dan (DENNIS QUAID) is a big man in advertising at a sports magazine. In a shake-up, a very young new boss, Carter (TOPHER GRACE), is assigned to replace Dan. Dan accepts a demotion since he has no choice—he has to pay the bills. As the two come to know each other and work together we learn that Carter is dating Dan's daughter Alex (SCARLET JOHANSSON).

When and Where does this movie take place?
This movie takes place in current times in NYC.

Why see it? The relationship between the two main characters, Dan and Carter make this a very good movie when it might otherwise be predictable fluff. I am impressed with the "real" feel of the lives involved and how interdependent we all are. I recommend this one for the acting and the message—even if you may feel this is a movie you've seen before, you haven't.

How about the kids?
PG-13 for some sexual content and drug references.
