SUPER MOVIE FAN'S RECOMMENDATION: 4, MUST SEE

Who is in it?:
HILLARY SWANK, CLINT EASTWOOD, MORGAN FREEMAN

What is it about?
Maggie (HILARY SWANK) is a southern girl going nowhere who shows up at a rundown boxing gym run by Frankie (CLINT EASTWOOD). Assisted by his employee, a former boxing standout whose career ended before he got a shot at the big fight (MORGAN FREEMAN), they help Maggie work her way toward a chance at a championship bout. Then an unexpected twist of fate takes place.

When and Where does this movie take place?
In the non-glamorous parts of L.A. and in the Ozark Mountain area where Maggie is from.

Why see it? SWANK is amazing. EASTWOOD directs this brilliantly. And the story is less about boxing than about life's unexpected opportunities and risks. Always keep your guard up. This will win best picture at the Oscars, Wayne. A warning that it is disturbing and sad beyond what I expected.

How about the kids?
"PG-13" for boxing violence.
