SUPER MOVIE FAN'S RECOMMENDATION: 2, WAIT and RENT

Who is in it?:
JANE FONDA, JENNIFER LOPEZ, WANDA SYKES, MICHAEL VARTAN, MONET MZAUR

What is it about?
Charlotte (LOPEZ) is a nice girl. She is a hard working dog attendant and does other various jobs. When she falls for a doctor (VARTAN) who equally falls for her, trouble is brewing with his mom (FONDA). Predictably mom is not about to let her doctor son get hooked up with a girl beneath his potential. And the war is on. Is Charlotte up to it?

When and Where does this movie take place?
Venice Beach and the surrounding LA area.

Why see it? Please wait and rent this one, Wayne. I know it is number one, but really it is not very good. The ending is like a TV movie and so what. What a waste of energy. FONDA waited 15 years to do a movie and picked this one. UGH! Sorry J Lo fans, she could be okay but this movie is better in the very beginning than it is along the way and the end. And WANDA SYKES is the funny part and she isn't in it enough.

How about the kids?
Rated PG-13 for sexual references and language. Not for little kids, too suggestive and mean for kids to see.

Video Pick of the Week
The Empire Strikes Back (1980)—This is the best of the Star Wars movies and I recommend to get ready for the new one, you watch the best of the previous five.

Next week, we'll review, Star Wars Episode III—Revenge of the Sith. By the time we talk about this next week, Wayne, it will be number one and half of America will have seen it. We'll help the other half decide, is it worth it. As a recap, this is the sixth movie but the third in the prequel series that gets us to the original Star Wars. Darth Vader and the Emperor are made in this one. Bad stuff will happen.
