Who is in it?:
NICOLE KIDMAN, SEAN PENN

What is it about?
NICOLE KIDMAN is Sylvia, an interpreter at the United Nations who overhears a death threat to an African dictator who is coming to present to the UN General Assembly. SEAN PENN is a secret service agent brought in on the case. Is Sylvia going to be believed? Is she lying? The politics are interesting here!

When and Where does this movie take place?
Mostly filmed at the UN, this is the first movie that is allowed access to the Security Council Chambers and the corridors of the UN.

Why see it? This is a very good thriller with fine acting. The movie keeps you guessing and glued to the screen. The ending is a bit typical but this is Hollywood. An adult action thriller.

How about the kids?
PG-13 for violence and some suggestiveness. Not for young children.

Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events. Three orphans are taken in by a series of weirdo relatives in this adaptation of the children's book series. Great actors including MERYL STREEP and JIM CARREY.

Next week, we'll review, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a book I read 10 years ago, Wayne. I am curious whether this exciting adventure that takes place as the world is ending can work on the big screen. Call this a sci-fi adventure movie.
